By recommendation, I went to Explicit Customs for tint on my 4Runner, which came out perfectly. Since then, we worked together putting Focal speakers in my vehicle and tuning my DSP. Jonathan was amazing and asked a ton of questions to ensure everything was tuned based on my taste. After tuning, we sat in the vehicle and fine-tuned even more. He adjusted settings based on my feedback and never rushed. In the end, everything was perfect and based on my tastes. Outstanding shop and crew! This is old school customer service where time is spent answering questions and giving you the best options for your budget (which in car audio can vary massively). I wish more businesses would operate like they do. Every employee I have dealt with has been incredible. Top Notch!

Very good experience replacing my Cadillac Cue screen display on my Escalade. The dealership wanted $2000. Explicit Customs did it for less than $350, not including the Cue screen which I ordered separately for $185. Fast, professional, reasonably priced.

Milton is the man!!!! Of all the cars in the world , I chose the Range Rover .. which you can’t “just put speakers in”. Solved a Complex Factory Audio Issue I am writing this review to highly commend David and Johnathan for their exceptional technical expertise and problem-solving skills. We came to them with our new Nissan Nismo Z after another shop installed and failed to fix a frustrating issue with a new subwoofer install: engine noise was being piped through the speakers. The previous installer left us high and dry with “oh well” but the team at Explicit immediately understood the problem. They expertly diagnosed it as an issue with the Nissan's factory "Engine Noise Cancellation" or "Active Sound Control" system. This is a complex, built-in feature that other shops might not know how to handle. What impressed us most was their deep knowledge of modern car electronics. They didn't just throw parts at the problem; they understood the root cause and fixed it! If you have a modern sports car or truck and need audio work done right, this is the only shop you should trust. They turned a frustrating situation into a perfect result. Thank you!
